Mr. David A. Morrison serves as the Director for Facilities Coordination and has been with the University since 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Before becoming the Interim Director, Morrison was Manager of Facilities Information for Facilities Coordination. Prior to Texas A&M, Morrison enjoyed a 20 year career with the Texas Youth Commission. His experiences there included training staff throughout TYC, serving as an administrative duty officer, and supervising youth and staff in a large correctional facility.
Morrison is the 2002 recipient of the Dean Dywer Volunteer Service Award from the Brazos County Chapter of the American Red Cross for Outstanding Disaster Volunteer.
Morrison enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, hunting and fishing, and serving as a site team volunteer at the Camp Howdy Girl Scout camp.
